TeatroStageFest June 19-27

Theatre in Spanish from Peru, Brazil, Argentina & NYC

Well, hope you don’t miss the extravagance of Spanish theatre as presented by the one and only TeatroStageFest. This non-profit organization brings vibrant theatre in Spanish for all Spanish-language lovers. It’s a one and only opportunity every year about this time.

This year, Peru, Brazil and Argentina send their best artists to present: from Peru–the legend of Ollanti, the story and myth about a young indian brave who revels against the gods. Then we have “Animals of Brazil” a story told a la Lion King, great for kids and all alike who would love to enjoy animals from Brazil come alive thru giant puppetry to the sounds of Samba.

“Los Fulanos” is done a la Cirque du Soleil style with gymnasts and the best acrobatics this country has seen. I can’t wait to opening night…
