Lenticular Lens allows only children of abuse to seek help

In Spain, a new public campaign against child abuse is using new technology that only allows the children to view the impact of their abuse and provides them with a telephone to call if they need help.1682912-poster-anar-foundation

Using a “Lenticular Lens” the ad appears different to people looking at it, depending on their height and angle in which they look at the ad.

The lenticular lens unites two images to create a change in what you see

One image is designed to be viewed by adults (perhaps the abuser) and will not reveal black an blues on the child’s face, a broken lip or a telephone number to call for help. But children who are at a lower angle the image can be seen with invisible messages to the adults.

One message reads, “If somebody hurts you phone us we’ll help”.

Another message says, “Sometimes abuse is only visible to the child suffering it.”

The idea of the ad is to speak to those who are suffering without the adult knowing they are getting a phone number to a hotline the kids can call 24 hours a day.  The services offered are legal, social and medical.

The ad is sponsored by ANAR (Ayuda a Niños y Adolescentes en Riesgo) or Help to Chidren and Adolescents at Risk.
